Binned Batteries Cause Merton Fire Risk
We are Merton's waste reduction & circular economy project.
At Sustainable Merton, we're working to reduce consumption based waste in our local area. We want to support every Merton resident, business and school to reduce, reuse, repair, recycle and rethink waste. That's where The Wheel comes in.

The Wheel is helping to build a circular economy in Merton. A circular economy moves away from throw away culture to create a community that reuses and shares resources, keeping useful materials in circulation for as long as possible. This eliminates waste, but also saves money, and protects natural habitats from the extraction of new materials. A circular economy is a tool for tackling the climate crisis, biodiversity loss, and pollution, all at the same time!
