About the event
Ready to turn your handmade yarn from into something beautiful?
In this relaxed, hands-on workshop, you’ll transform your t-shirt yarn into a practical and stylish crochet bowl. Guided by local artist Dina Klumbys, this beginner-friendly session will focus on the core crochet techniques needed to shape and build your piece.
Using the yarn you created in Part 1, Dina will guide you step-by-step through the process of crocheting your own bowl to take home. If you’re feeling more adventurous or are a more experienced crocheter, Dina can also help guide you on adapting the technique to make a bag. You’ll learn the basics of crochet while creating a functional object from reclaimed materials — giving new life to textiles that might otherwise go to waste.
Didn’t attend Part 1? You’re still welcome to join. Simply bring your own t-shirt yarn with you on the day. Please note that we won’t have time to make…
