Repair cafes are free meeting places for repairing things together. Please remember that you need to be able to bring the item with you and take it back. Please wash and clean any clothes/fabrics you might bring. If you have any questions, feel free to check with us beforehand- drop us a note.

About the event
Welcome to Merton's repair cafe- Repair events where you can bring things that need to be mended and fix them along with the repairer. Please remember that you need to take the item(s) back with you. If you are not sure of something, feel free to check with us beforehand- drop us a note. We provide basic tools and materials for repair, if not we’ll tell you what to order and bring with you the next time. Our repairers are curious people and never afraid to try something new, so even if your item is not on the list, we’ll see what we can do.
Please see the items that can generally be repaired at the repair café: textiles- clothes, sheets pillow cases, tablecloths, curtains; furniture; bikes; tech gadgets- mobiles, laptops; small electrical items- kettles, toasters, fans, hair dyers, lamps, vacuum cleaners, radios, headphones, coffee machine, sewing machine
