About the event
RE-IMAGINE & MEND WITH RE-RUNN: PART 1
Join Sakina O’Neill, founder of circular fashion brand RE-RUNN, for a hands-on, sustainable textile experience.
In part one of this two-part workshop, you'll create your own decorative patch using preloved fabrics and learn the basics of Sashiko – a traditional Japanese hand-stitching technique known for its strength, simplicity, and meditative rhythm.
You’ll be guided step-by-step using pre-printed patterns – perfect for beginners – or, if you're feeling creative, you can freestyle your own design! All materials are provided, and no experience is needed.
Whether you're here to unwind, upskill, or reconnect with your wardrobe more consciously, this is the perfect place to start.
💚 In Part 2 (optional but encouraged), you’ll learn how to apply your patch to repair or personalise your own clothing.
