About the event

Join us at the Preloved Studio for a free workshop on creating a beautiful Ajrak print to upcycle old fabrics and reduce textiles waste! Ajrak textiles are traditionally used in shawls or dresses and display special designs and patterns made using block printing with stamps.


In this workshop you'll learn:

  • The history of Ajrak making in Pakistan

  • The traditional ways of making Ajrak in Pakistan

  • To create your own Ajrak inspired creation from preloved fabrics


Workshop skill level: Beginner (no previous experience needed)
