About the event
- Five sessions Mon 12 - Fri 16 June
- Core hours 10am - 2pm, with anyone able to stay longer than that welcomed
- Light lunch / refreshments provided, a larger celebration late lunch on Friday
- Volunteers can sign up for one day or all five
- 6 volunteers per session. We could probably host a few more if there was a particularly popular date, please let us know!
- Skilled and inexperienced volunteers welcome. Everyone will be guided through the activities. Tasks include:
- Planing, sanding and painting reclaimed wood to create Art Displays
- Denailing posts & drilling holes
All sessions to be held at The Small Quarter, a growing sustainable cultural hub. Volunteers can enjoy our community garden, birds and nature.
Please note that bees are kept on the site and that we have compost toilets. We have cover for working in wet weather, but the sessions are held outside. Sturdy footwear and clothes you are happy to work / paint in are needed.
